All types of different vehicles are sorted on an online trucking board, by body style, price and obviously origin/destination. When a driver looks up a route, for example Los Angeles, CA to Miami FL, he will find the list in order of payment from greatest to least.
The vehicles range in price due to a variety of factors. The type of vehicle is always a key factor, such as a coupe, sedan, SUV or pickup truck. Space and weight of a vehicle are also deciding factors. Sedans and Coupes will be in lower priced categories then SUV's, pick up trucks, and other heavier, space consuming vehicles.The vehicles which are priced higher are either moving at a very near date or ASAP, whereas lower paying vehicles have more a flexible pickup date.
Unfortunately, there is a bottom line where if priced low enough, a driver will simply not call for the load EVER. The drivers have thresh-holds based on fuel and other logistic expenses and they usually look to get a certain cents per mile depending on your route. If you are priced below that threshold, they will continue to pick up other vehicles priced according to what their flat fee is and you will continue to be consistently overlooked.
This causes frustration and panic as the final date nears. A service is not a product.
